Professor Dalko is a financial economist with 25 years and entrepreneur with 17 years of experience. She is an expert in M&A and business analysis and valuation, including corporations in distress, financial and operating strategies of turnaround, restructuring, divestiture, and liquidation. She served as a former Dean, management consultant, executive educator and visiting professor in 15 countries of five continents.

Professor Dalko provided consulting and executive training on how to improve corporate risk management, business strategy, corporate finance, and financial market strategies, especially as they support successful turnaround and sustainable development of the firm.

Current research generated by Professor Dalko and her co-authors promotes competition in markets; through comprehensive analysis of corporate longevity and sustainable success. Their work aims to contribute to the fair competition and stability for small and medium-sized firms. Her expertise is particularly relevant in the financial industry.  Her co-authors include Nobel Laurate Lawrence R. Klein, and a founder of econophysics, Gene Stanley.

Professor Dalko is recognized as an excellent business educator by Harvard University Division of Continuing Education and Hult International Business School. She served as Advisor to the President National Bank of Hungary, representing the Bank in the privatization process, and was coordinating the budgetary processes as Chief of Staff of the Committee of Budget, Tax and Finances of the Hungarian Parliament during the first democratically elected government.

As an entrepreneur, Professor Dalko established and manages a small think tank since 1999. She was also the founding Dean of the New York Hult Rotation Centre, a complete seasonal campus, and was the first Discipline Lead of Finance at Hult, organizing and standardizing the discipline across four countries. Professor Dalko was called an Authentic Leader by colleagues, and was awarded Honour Roll for Extraordinary Service for Pedagogy.
